Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.29 per cent at 83,383 and the Nifty-50 down 0.26 per cent at 25,666. About 2,016 shares have advanced, 2,146 shares have declined and 182 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.16 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.25 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were National Aluminium Company Ltd, Indian Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Bank of India and Dalmia Bharat Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Antelopus Selan Energy Ltd, Arisinfra Solutions Ltd, Kernex Microsystems (India) Ltd and Jupiter Wagons Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Metals Index and BSE PSU Bank Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Focused IT Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 14, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 468 lakh crore or USD 5.19 trillion. On the same day, 88 stocks hit a 52-week high while 222 stocks touched a 52-week low.
