Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 87 points or 0.10 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.25 per cent, power zoomed by 0.06 per cent, and auto surged by 0.20 per cent.

Meanwhile, Cemindia Projects Ltd, KSB Ltd and Power Mech Projects Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Cemindia Projects Ltd: Cemindia Projects Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.66 per cent to trade at Rs 1,279.95 apiece. The company recently disclosed updates under Regulation 30 and held investor/analyst meetings in September, while its trading window is scheduled to close from October 1 ahead of its September-quarter results.

KSB Ltd: KSB Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.56 per cent to trade at Rs 859.00 apiece. The company recently received a USD 12.4 million export order from Dangote Projects Free Zone Enterprise for around 18 boiler feed pump packages, with execution scheduled between September 2027 and March 2028.

Power Mech Projects Ltd: Power Mech Projects Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 3.53 per cent to trade at Rs 2,482.20 apiece. The company recently secured a Rs 549.37 crore five-year operations and maintenance order from Moxie Power Generation, an Adani Group company, for its 1,200 MW Tuticorin thermal power plant.
