Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 772 points or 0.92 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals dipped by 1.46 per cent, power plunged by 0.67 per cent, and auto slipped by 0.81 per cent.
Meanwhile, Engineers India Ltd, Honasa Consumer Ltd and Bharat Bijlee Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Engineers India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 8.55 per cent to trade at Rs 196.25 apiece. The company has announced its Q3FY26 result.
Honasa Consumer Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 3.34 per cent to trade at Rs 309.05 apiece. Honasa Consumer Ltd reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue for Q3 FY26, while the company’s profit more than doubled on a year-on-year basis, reflecting strong growth momentum during the quarter.
Bharat Bijlee Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 2.51 per cent to trade at Rs 2,577.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
