Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 549 points or 0.72 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.56 per cent, power zoomed by 1.08 per cent, and auto surged by 0.99 per cent.

Meanwhile, IDFC First Bank Ltd, Blue Jet Healthcare Ltd and CreditAccess Grameen Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

 

IDFC First Bank Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.02 per cent to trade at Rs 85.70 apiece. IDFC FIRST Bank reported its highest-ever quarterly Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 1,075 crore in Q1FY27, registering a growth of 132.4 per cent compared to Rs 463 crore in Q1FY26. The bank’s total customer business (loans + deposits) increased 18.6 per cent YoY to Rs 6,04,776 crore, while loans and advances grew 20.6 per cent YoY to Rs 3,05,370 crore. Customer deposits rose 16.6 per cent YoY to Rs 2,99,405 crore, with CASA deposits increasing 24.6 per cent to Rs 1,58,492 crore and CASA ratio improving to 50.8 per cent. Asset quality strengthened as gross NPA improved to 1.51 per cent from 1.97 per cent YoY, while net NPA declined to 0.44 per cent. Net Interest Margin (NIM) improved to 5.96 per cent, and return on assets (ROA) stood at 1.06 per cent during the quarter.

Blue Jet Healthcare Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.96 per cent to Rs 594.75 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

CreditAccess Grameen Ltd, an S&P BSE company, advanced 4.39 per cent to Rs 1,583.55 apiece. CreditAccess Grameen reported a strong performance in Q1FY27, with Profit After Tax (PAT) surging 719.7 per cent YoY to Rs 493.4 crore compared to Rs 60.2 crore in Q1FY26. The company’s Assets Under Management (AUM) grew 16.4 per cent YoY to Rs 30,319 crore, while disbursements increased 11.9 per cent YoY to Rs 6,107 crore. Total income rose 21.9 per cent YoY to Rs 1,784 crore, and Pre-Provision Operating Profit (PPOP) climbed 33.6 per cent to Rs 873 crore. Asset quality improved with PAR 0+ declining to 2.2 per cent from 3.0 per cent in Q4FY26, while credit cost fell 62.8 per cent YoY to Rs 212.5 crore. The company maintained a strong capital position with CRAR at 24.9 per cent and liquidity of Rs 3,535.5 crore as of June 2026.
