Deepinder Goyal-Backed Quick Commerce Company Reports Q1 FY27 Results; PAT Jumps 268%, Board Approves AI Platform Restructuring

Amid broader market weakness, the Eternal (formerly Zomato Ltd) share price was trading at Rs 289.55, up 1.03 per cent, after the company announced its Q1 FY27 financial results and key operational updates.
Eternal Q1 FY27 Financial Performance
On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations increased 181.99 per cent YoY to Rs 20,211 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 7,167 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income rose 173.71 per cent YoY to Rs 20,586 crore from Rs 7,521 crore.
Profit before tax surged 209.09 per cent YoY to Rs 272 crore from Rs 88 crore, while net profit jumped 268.00 per cent YoY to Rs 92 crore compared with Rs 25 crore reported in Q1 FY26. Earnings per share (EPS) improved to Rs 0.10 from Rs 0.03 in the corresponding quarter last year.
Eternal Operating Performance Across Businesses
During the quarter, B2C Net Order Value (NOV) increased 54 per cent YoY to Rs 31,120 crore, while Adjusted Revenue grew 173 per cent YoY to Rs 20,648 crore. Adjusted EBITDA surged 223 per cent YoY to Rs 555 crore, and the company's closing cash balance increased by Rs 316 crore QoQ to Rs 18,288 crore.

Food Delivery Continues to Accelerate
The company's Food Delivery business delivered another strong quarter, with Net Order Value (NOV) rising 20 per cent YoY to Rs 10,769 crore, extending the acceleration seen over the previous four quarters. Adjusted Revenue increased to Rs 3,537 crore, while Adjusted EBITDA rose to Rs 606 crore, with the Adjusted EBITDA margin improving to 5.6 per cent of NOV, resulting in continued improvement in the profitability of the core food delivery business.
Blinkit Drives Growth
Blinkit remained the company's fastest-growing business during the quarter. NOV surged 86 per cent YoY to Rs 17,132 crore, while Adjusted Revenue jumped to Rs 15,664 crore. The company added 200 net new stores during the quarter, taking the total store count to 2,443.
Blinkit's Adjusted EBITDA turned positive at Rs 102 crore, compared with a loss in the corresponding quarter last year, marking the fifth consecutive quarter of profitability improvement. Management said the company will continue investing in stores, warehousing infrastructure and working capital as long as healthy returns on capital remain achievable.
District and Hyperpure Maintain Momentum
The District (Going-Out) business reported 60 per cent YoY growth in NOV to Rs 3,218 crore. The platform now connects users with more than 45,000 restaurants, 5,000 movie screens, 6,000 retail stores, 7,500 events and over 2,000 activity outlets, reflecting continued expansion across experiences.
Meanwhile, Hyperpure recorded 27 per cent YoY like-for-like revenue growth, while Adjusted EBITDA turned positive at Rs 6 crore, compared with a loss in the year-ago period.
Board Approves AI Platform Restructuring
The Board approved the transfer of the 'Nugget by Zomato' business to Carthero Technologies Private Ltd (CTPL), a wholly owned subsidiary, through a Business Transfer Agreement valued at Rs 35 crore.
The company said the internal restructuring aims to streamline its corporate structure while enabling CTPL to independently develop the AI-powered B2B customer support platform. During FY26, the Nugget business generated Rs 7.20 crore in revenue and had a net worth of Rs 10.54 crore. The transaction is expected to be completed within 30 days, subject to applicable approvals.
