Asian Granito's consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 530.95 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 413.15 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, registering a 28.5 per cent YoY increase. Revenue was broadly stable sequentially compared with Rs 538.50 crore in Q4 FY26.

Operating EBITDA increased 2.8 per cent YoY to Rs 32.88 crore from Rs 31.99 crore in Q1 FY26. However, the EBITDA margin declined to 6.19 per cent from 7.74 per cent, with the company attributing the change to a higher share of traded-goods revenue in the sales mix during the quarter.

Profit after Tax stood at Rs 8.08 crore in Q1 FY27 compared with Rs 11.29 crore in Q1 FY26, marking a 28.5 per cent YoY decline. However, on a sequential basis, the company reported a sharp turnaround from a loss of Rs 32.66 crore in Q4 FY26 to a profit of Rs 8.08 crore in Q1 FY27.

On a standalone basis, revenue from operations increased 7.0 per cent YoY to Rs 277.77 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 259.64 crore in Q1 FY26. Operating EBITDA increased 14.3 per cent YoY to Rs 9.04 crore, while EBITDA margin improved to 3.26 per cent from 3.05 per cent.

Standalone profit after tax stood at Rs 2.24 crore compared with Rs 5.25 crore in Q1 FY26, representing a 57.3 per cent YoY decline. The company attributed the decline primarily to lower other income and an increase in gas prices during the quarter, while stating that operating performance improved on both an absolute and margin basis.

Subsidiary Revenue Jumps 64.9 per cent

The company's subsidiaries continued to scale during the quarter, with subsidiary revenue increasing 64.9 per cent YoY to Rs 253.18 crore. Subsidiaries accounted for 47.7 per cent of consolidated revenue in Q1 FY27, compared with 37.2 per cent a year ago.

The company stated that the increase in fuel prices impacted the consolidated results during the quarter.

Capacity Expansion and Premiumisation

Commenting on the performance, Kamlesh B Patel, Chairman of Asian Granito India, said Q1 FY27 reflected the strength of the company's ongoing manufacturing capacity expansion and continued focus on premiumisation. The company stated that price realisations improved on a year-on-year basis, while its subsidiaries continued to scale with profitability remaining broadly steady.

The company also said it remains focused on rebuilding its export Order Book and driving further operating efficiencies across the group in the coming quarters.
