Solar Industries reported EBITDA of Rs 1,024 crore in Q1 FY27, registering an 82 per cent YoY increase from Rs 564 crore in Q1 FY26. EBITDA margin improved to 27.91 per cent from 26.18 per cent in the corresponding quarter. Profit before Tax increased 89 per cent YoY to Rs 911 crore from Rs 481 crore, while consolidated profit after tax rose 89 per cent to Rs 666 crore from Rs 353 crore.
The company's defence business continued to record strong growth during the quarter. Defence revenue increased 123 per cent YoY to Rs 933 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 418 crore in Q1 FY26. Defence accounted for 26 per cent of total revenue during the quarter, compared with 19 per cent in the year-ago period. Domestic explosives revenue increased to Rs 1,361 crore from Rs 898 crore, while international explosives revenue rose to Rs 1,364 crore from Rs 826 crore.
