Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Q1 FY27 Results

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders reported a 21.7 per cent YoY increase in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 550.46 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with Rs 452.15 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue from operations increased 12.1 per cent YoY to Rs 2,942.70 crore, up from Rs 2,625.59 crore in Q1 FY26. Total income also rose 10.4 per cent YoY to Rs 3,255.88 crore from Rs 2,949.17 crore.

Profit before tax (PBT) grew 21.1 per cent YoY to Rs 686.45 crore, compared with Rs 566.85 crore in the year-ago quarter. The company did not report any exceptional items during the quarter.

Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) improved to Rs 13.62, compared with Rs 11.21 in the corresponding quarter last year.

Operational Performance

Total expenses for the quarter increased to Rs 2,569.43 crore from Rs 2,382.32 crore in the year-ago period, Employee benefit expenses stood at Rs 289.10 crore, while finance costs were Rs 44.34 crore and depreciation and amortisation expenses were Rs 28.97 crore.

The company also recorded a share of net profit of Rs 38.42 crore from its associate during the quarter, further supporting consolidated profitability.
