BigBloc Construction Ltd Reports Revenue from Operations of Rs 86.93 crore in Q4 FY26, a rise of 34.6% Y-o-Y

Construction-ltd-280524">BigBloc Construction Ltd, one of India's largest manufacturers of Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (AAC) Blocks, Bricks and ALC Panels, reported strong revenue growth for the fourth quarter and full financial year ended March 2026, driven by healthy demand across key markets and improved operational efficiencies.
For the quarter ended March 2026 (Q4 FY26), the company reported consolidated Revenue from Operations of Rs 86.93 crore, registering a growth of 34.6 per cent compared to Rs 64.59 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The company's EBITDA stood at Rs 7.06 crore during the quarter, reflecting stable operating performance despite continued challenges in the building materials sector. Profitability remained under pressure due to sector-wide challenges arising from geopolitical uncertainties and the company's ongoing expansion initiatives.
During Q4 FY26, the consolidated capacity utilisation reached 78 per cent. Bigbloc Building Elements Pvt. Ltd. achieved capacity utilisation of 89 per cent, while Siam Cement Bigbloc Construction Technologies Pvt. Ltd. reported capacity utilisation of 40 per cent during the quarter.
For the full financial year FY26, BigBloc Construction reported Revenue from Operations of Rs 283.42 crore, representing a robust year-on-year growth of 26.2 per cent compared to Rs 224.64 crore in FY25. EBITDA for FY26 stood at Rs 22.93 crore, translating into an EBITDA margin of 8.09 per cent.
Commenting on the performance, Mohit Saboo, Director and Chief Financial Officer of BigBloc Construction Ltd, said the company delivered healthy revenue growth during the quarter and the financial year, supported by operational efficiencies and steady demand. He added that the company's entry into the construction chemicals segment and continued focus on sustainability initiatives have further strengthened its business. With increasing adoption of sustainable building materials in India, the company remains optimistic about long-term growth prospects and will continue to focus on operational excellence, capacity expansion and stakeholder value creation.
A major milestone during the year was the company's entry into the construction chemicals segment. BigBloc commenced commercial production at its Umargaon facility, manufacturing products such as Block Jointing Mortar, Ready Mix Plaster and Tile Adhesives. The expansion is expected to strengthen the company's presence in high-growth building material categories while diversifying its product portfolio.
The company also made significant progress on its upcoming greenfield expansion project in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. StarBigBloc Building Material Ltd, a subsidiary of BigBloc Construction, secured all major approvals for the project, including Town Planning Clearance, land registration, Gram Panchayat approval and Non-Agricultural (NA) permission. BigBloc has acquired approximately 57,500 square metres of land for the facility, which is expected to become India's largest greenfield AAC block manufacturing plant.
On the corporate restructuring front, the Hon'ble Regional Director approved the amalgamation of Starbigbloc Building Material Ltd with Bigbloc Building Elements Pvt. Ltd. through an order dated April 28, 2026. The merger has been made effective from April 1, 2025, and aims to streamline operations, improve efficiencies and strengthen the group's corporate structure.
As both entities were already consolidated within the group, the merger does not impact the group's consolidated assets, liabilities, revenues or expenses. Following the approved share swap arrangement, BigBloc's holding in Bigbloc Building Elements Pvt. Ltd. has been revised from 100 per cent to 92.63 per cent. Consequently, the non-controlling interest has been reduced from 14.85 per cent in Starbigbloc Building Material Ltd to 7.37 per cent in the merged entity.
BigBloc continued to strengthen its sustainability initiatives during FY26. The total installed rooftop Solar power capacity across the company and its subsidiaries now stands at 3,340 KW for captive consumption. The company also launched its ESG profile on ESG World, enabling investors, analysts, ESG rating agencies and financial institutions to monitor its performance across key environmental, social and governance parameters aligned with global standards.
Established in 2015, BigBloc Construction Ltd is the only listed company in India's AAC block manufacturing segment and operates under the 'NXTBLOC' brand. The company currently has an installed production capacity of 1.3 million cubic metres annually across facilities located in Gujarat's Kheda, Umargaon and Kapadvanj, as well as Wada in Maharashtra.
BigBloc is among the few AAC manufacturers in India generating carbon credits and has completed more than 2,000 projects, with over 1,500 projects currently in the pipeline.
